At long last…

It’s been one month and a half since I’ve updated my personal blog. It’s been crazy this term what with Business Law, Marketing, and Management. I had my Business Law exam on Monday and it was alright. I mean there were some things that I wanted to write but couldn’t elaborate eloquently but that’s okay and tomorrow, I have my Marketing and Management exam!

My whole family went to Jakarta this morning to go to my distant cousin’s wedding and since I can’t be bothered packing up all my stuff only for a 3-5 day stay over there, I decided to not go with them. Anyway, I can’t stand the heat and traffic jam overthere so why should I bother?

Since this term has been crazy, I haven’t been able to spend time with my friends this month and I feel really bad for that. I miss Cinta especially, haha lol! Today is Christmas for my Christian friends and I’d like to wish everyone Happy Holidays!

Right now I’m watching MTV Asia and Brand Spankin’ New is on with Leona Lewis’ song ‘Run’. I don’t get what the big deal is with this song..but I really like it. My favourite song from Leona has got to be ‘Better in Time’ and I’ll definitely go to her gig if she decides to come to Singapore!

Talking about X-Factor darlings, I just found out the winner of the competition this year is Alexandra Burke and I really like her! She went nuts when her name was announced as the winner! LOL! Her first single is a cover of Jeff Buckley’s ‘Hallelujah’ and even though it’s not a religious song, since Alexandra’s version has a choir backing her up – it sounds like one. I hate comparing artists, but I think I like Alex more than Leona..for now.

Talking about UK musicians, Cinta asked me whether I wanted to go to the Ting Tings concert in 2009 but I decided to not go because I just bought an AUTOGRAPHED! CD of David Cook and I really want to watch Duffy in March of 09..hmm. Hee. Anyway, I just finished watching two seasons of Veronica Mars back-to-back and even though it’s upsetting that it got cancelled in 2006/7, I can see why it did. By season 2 it got really monotone and by the beginning of season 3, Veronica lost her snark that the fans love.

I’m such a post-ho today! Making up for lost times..*sigh*

Anyway since my last post, David Cook’s album has been released!! It’s become a smash hit in the US and Singapore staying in the charts and selling nearly 700,000 copies in the US making it GOLD over there! My friend also contacted Sony Music Singapore and they said that it’s doing REALLY WELL here in Singapore as well! I’m really happy with the album, it’s definitely worth your bucks! So get it LEGALLY!
