What I want in 2009

Personal stuff (in no order):

• finish my first step to bachelor’s degree with flying colours
• (allowed to drive the new alphard) or get my own car
• tv tuner
• pc-to-tv wireless converter
• DVR/DVD recorder, et al
• iPod sound system
• credit card
• Go to the US in February/March to see David Cook’s college tour

Entertainment-related:

• Simon Cowell does NOT fuck up Alexandra Burke’s career just for a quick buck
• David Cook holds a solo world/asia tour by the end of 2009
• Chuck and Heroes continues to rock!
• NBC continues to be my fave channel
• SNL invites David Cook for a skit (or two)
• By the end of the year, David Cook gets nominated for multiple-Grammy-s (and other awards)
• American Idol invites Carrie Underwood, David Cook (hopefully for solo and duet performances) and announces that Chris Daughtry is the unofficial winner of Season 5
• Kelly Clarkson does not avoid Idol just for cred, cos right now she needs them – whilst Idol does not really need her. They’ve got their new Kelly successor (in terms of sales) with Carrie and their new rising star (their new Carrie in terms of sales) with David Cook.
• Simon Fuller comes out for an interview and clears up the fact that Cowell is NOT in charge on Idol and he only copies Fuller’s ideas.
