I’m proud to announce that I’ve already got a favourite so early in the season – and if American Idol doesn’t put him through Top 36, I am going to be extremely upset!

His name is Anoop Desai and he was the former president of The UNC Clef Hangers, an amazing a cappella group.

I thought I wasn’t going to be this invested in an Idol contestant after David Cook, but American Idol keeps pulling me in with talent like Anoop. And to think that there are still 5 or more audition cities to watch – can’t we just skip straight to Hollywood Week?
